Product and Supplier Search
Our research teams in China and Kenya will search and critically analyze suppliers of client’s requested product and will provide the client with a report. The report will show the chosen most suitable supplier based on price and quality. We have our analysis criteria mainly based on factory work methods, quality assurance and delivery capacity. We do pay physical factory visit to confirm the above after getting a price quotation.
Price Quotation and Sample Request
We do contact supplier via phone and email to get price quotations for requested products. Where a client has own product specifications, we relay this to the manufacturers to help get a quotation based on client quality requirements. For new importers, we will insist on samples to be delivered before final order is negotiated and price quote given. After getting at least three price quotations, we provide client with a report advising which supplier to go for based on quality and price.

Supply Terms and Contract Singing
Once the client has decided on product to import, we negotiate terms and contract signing taking care of quality requirements and how to treat defects that might be discovered by the importer several days later after product receipt. We are very categorical on defects and cost of returning them. We help clients with any technical issues that might arise during negotiations. At time we use our expertise to negotiate better price discounts and other favourable terms while maintaining the desired product quality.
Quality Control
Our experts both in Kenya and China will inspect the supplier production process and keep client informed regularly about the progress. Before product delivery we sign off the delivery to make sure client’s requirements are met. If the final product does not meet client’s expectations then delivery will not be accepted by us until improvements are made to the product or different batch supplied.
Paying for your Order
We prefer that the importer receives the invoice from the Chine supplier though our company then pays the Chinese company directly only giving us payment prove so that that we monitor the import process. Client is also free to pay us then we pay the China supplier but the shipment will be consigned directly to our client’s warehouse and client will take care of all local country custom clearance charges. All these charges would have been estimated with error margin of less than 5% before import confirmation.
Shipment to East Africa
When need, we recommend to client on which currier company to use for shipment depending on the terms and pricing offered by each. Based on our relationship with currier companies and local customs clearing agents, we can oversee the shipment to the client’s requested final destination.
China Business Trip
In some cases we arrange for business trips to China for potential clients. Such trips involve visiting factory sites, attending trade shows, signing contracts and other business related activities. In most cases we do all this for our clients but it is recommended that the a regular importer from China arranges at least one familiarization trip.
Claims and Product Returns
Claims and product returns requirements will be spelt out clearly in the client contract with the China supplier. But in the unforeseen circumstances the China supplier decides to complicate issues, we do come in using Chinese laws to safeguard the interest of our clients.
